* There will be NO Parking validations. (Parking Fee : $15 per vehicle)
We advise carpooling or park at a near by location.

※For EKIDEN team runners: Only the team representative can pick up for the entire team. Individual pickup for team runners not allowed.
※There is NO official timing chip for Fun Run & Walk and Kids Challenge.
※T-shirts sizes and quantities are limited. Preferred size not guaranteed.
※There will be NO packet pick up on Race Day.
【ʻOliʻoli Kids Challenge Participants】
Participants do NOT need to come to packet pick-up in advance.
Check-in from 9:00am to 10:00am on the day of the event at the information tent, you will receive your bib on race day (3/9/2025).
2. Race Day (Sunday, March 9)
◆Event Day Schedule
7:00am～ Opening Ceremony (Race Briefing, Warm-up)
8:00am～ Honolulu Rainbow EKIDEN start
(EKIDEN Team Relay / 5K Fun Run & Walk)
10:00am Kids Challenge Race Briefing
(Participants are requested to gather in front of the stage)
10:30am Kids Challenge start
※Awards for each category will be presented separately during the event as soon as the corresponding teams are determined.
◆EKIDEN Relay Participants
【Schedule】
・ Please be at the Kapiolani Park by 7:00am for Opening Ceremony (Race Briefing/Warm-up). NO need to check-in.
【Sash with Timing Chips】
・ Don’t forget to bring your sash you received at packet pickup.
If you forget or lose your Relay-Sash, we will prepare another one for your team ONLY when we receive a $30 handling fee.
・ Please DO NOT cut any part of the timing chip band as it will cut the wire in the band.
・ You are welcome to take the sash (along with the timing band) home.
【Race Bib】
・ The last runner must wear the pink bib with ###-5.
・ If you are running twice, please be sure to change the bib.
【Course】
・ Please follow the instructions of the police and/or staff.
◆Fun Run & Walk Participants
・ Please be at the Kapiolani Park by 7:00am for Opening Ceremony (Race Briefing/Warm-up). NO need to check-in.
・ There is NO official timing for the Fun Run & Walk.
◆ EKIDEN Teams / 5K Fun Run & Walk
・ Please fill out the emergency medical information on back of your bib.
・ PIN your bib to the FRONT of your shirt.
・ Water will be provided at the turning point and at the finish area.
・ The race course is not completely blocked.
Please follow the instructions of the police and/or staff.
・ The Fun Run & Walk participants will participate in the same course as the relay runners. Please be aware of runners as they will be coming from front and behind.
・ Cut-off time: The last member of your team must start at 11:15am. This will give the
other members 3hrs and 15min to complete their part. If you are the last runner and are still waiting for 4th runner at 11:15am, we will start your run without the sash (team time will be forfeited).
・ Due to safety reasons, please refrain from using earphones.
・ The event will take place rain or shine. In the unlikely event of severe weather, stay
tuned to our website/Facebook/Instagram page for updates.
・ NO lockers or bag services at the event.
◆Kids Challenge Participants
・ Check-in will start from 9:00am to 10:00am at the information tent.
・ You will receive your bib.
・ There is NO official timing for the Kids Challenge.
◆Post Race
What to receive after your run;
- Finisher Medal (All Relay Runners, Fun Runners, Kids)
- Drinks (Water and Green Tea) , Food (Spam Musubi), Fruits.
Race Results;
・ Winners and awards will be posted at the stage area as soon as results are in.
・ Awards for each category will be presented separately as soon as the corresponding teams are determined.
・ Team results will be posted on our website at a later date.
