SUSTAINABILITY

We strive to foster peace and global interconnectedness through the creation of opportunities for meaningful human interaction.

The Honolulu Rainbow EKIDEN kicked-off in March 2013 as Hawaii's first public relay race for amateur runners. This Japan-born cultural event is enjoyed as "Hawaii's local sports meet" that brings smiles to the faces of runners and cheering supporters alike.

From young children to the elderly, everyone comes to Kapiolani Park to cheer on the runners. The event has become one of Hawaii's favorite sporting event.

The social responsibility of the organizer of the event, the JTB Group, is to "strive to foster peace and global interconnectedness through the creation of opportunities for meaningful human interaction," which we believe is the core essence of stainability itself.

We have defined our business domain as "Interaction Creation Business" and aim to create all forms of interaction on the global stage to inspire and empathize with our customers.

The Honolulu Rainbow EKIDEN will contribute to society by creating opportunities for exchange through sports, promoting health, revitalizing communities, and solving social issues.
