Location：　Hawaii Convention Center 1st Floor Booth Area
　　　　  　    (1801 Kalakaua Avenue, Honolulu)

* There will be NO Parking validations. (Parking Fee : $15 per vehicle)
   If you are only coming for packet pick-up, we advise carpooling and/or park at a near by location.

 

【Packet Contents】

EKIDEN Team Entry	Fun Run & Walk	ʻOliʻoli Kids Challenge *RACE DAY PICKUP*
・ Race Bib x5 ・ Sash with chips x1 ・ T-shirts x5 max ・ Sunscreen x5 max	・ Race Bib  ・ T-shirts ・ Sunscreen	・ Race Bib  ・ Commemorative gift

• For EKIDEN team runners: Only the team representative can pick up for the entire team. Individual pickup for team runners not allowed.
• T-shirts sizes and quantities are limited. Preferred size not guaranteed.
• There will be NO packet pick up on Race Day.

【ʻOliʻoli Kids Challenge Participants】

Kids Challenge Participants do NOT need to come to packet pick-up in advance.

Check-in from 9:00am to 10:00am on the day of the event at the information tent, you will receive your bib on race day (3/10/2024).

 

2. Race Day (Sunday, March 9)

◆Event Day Schedule

•  7:00am～　Opening Ceremony (Race Briefing, Warm-up)
•  8:00am～　Honolulu Rainbow EKIDEN start  (EKIDEN Team Relay / 5K Fun Run & Walk)
• 10:00am　　Kids Challenge Race Briefing (Participants are requested to gather in front of the stage)
• 10:30am　　Kids Challenge start  

※Awards for each category will be presented separately during the event as soon as the corresponding teams are determined.

◆EKIDEN Relay Participants

【Schedule】

• Please be at the Kapiolani Park by 7:00am for Opening Ceremony (Race Briefing/Warm-up). NO need to check-in.

【Sash with Timing Chips】

• Don’t forget to bring your sash you received at packet pickup.
• If you forget or lose your Relay-Sash, we will prepare another one for your team ONLY when we receive a $30 handling fee.
• Please DO NOT cut any part of the timing chip band as it will cut the wire in the band.
• You are welcome to take the sash (along with the timing band) home.

【Race Bib】

• The last runner must wear the pink bib with ###-5.
• If you are running twice, please be sure to change the bib.

◆Fun Run & Walk Participants

• Please be at the Kapiolani Park by 7:00am for Opening Ceremony (Race Briefing/Warm-up). No need to check-in.
• There is NO official timing for the Fun Run & Walk.

◆EKIDEN Teams / Fun Run & Walk

• Pin your bib to the FRONT, visible to the staff.
• The race course is not completely blocked. Please follow the instructions of the police and/or staff.
• The Fun Run & Walk will take place in the same course as the relay runners.  Please be aware of runners as they will be coming from front and behind.
• Cut-off time: The last member of your team must start at 11:15am. This will give the other members 3hrs and 15min to complete their part. If you are the last runner and are still waiting for 4th runner at 11:15am, we will start your run without the sash (team time will be forfeited).
• The event will take place rain or shine. In the unlikely event of severe weather, stay tuned to our website/Facebook/Instagram page for updates.
• NO lockers or bag services at the event.

◆Kids Challenge Participants

• Check-in is from 9:00am to 10:00am at the information tent, please receive receive your bib.
• There is NO official timing for the Kids Challenge.

◆Post Race

Participants will receive:

1. Finisher Medal (All Relay Runners, Fun Runners, Kids)
2. Drinks　(Water and Green Tea) , Food (Spam Musubi), Fruits.

Race Results;

• Award winners will be announced as soon as the results are in.
• Awards for each category will be presented separately when corresponding teams are determined.
• Team results will be posted on our website at a later date.
