ENTRY

HONOLULU RAINBOW EKIDEN

  • 3-5 members per team: Five (5) laps of approx. 5 km (3.1 miles).​​ (For 3 member teams, participants may run multiple laps to have a total of 5 laps).​​
  • Limited to first 200 teams (max 1,000 runners).​​
  • Must be 7 years of age or older on the day of the event (those under 18 years of age must have parental consent).​
  • Only the name & contact information of the representative, and team name are required for application (no need to report the names of all participants).

    Rainbow EKIDEN 5K Fun Run & Walk

    • Individual participation. Limited to first 100 entry.​​ One (1) lap of approx. 5 km (3.1 miles).​​
    • Must be 7 years of age or older on the day of the event (those under 18 years of age must have parental consent).​​
    • * No timed/ranking awards will be given.　​​
    • * This category is for participants to enjoy running/walking one lap on race day with the other EKIDEN runners. It is not a single entry to be mixed in with the EKIDEN race.

    Rainbow EKIDEN ʻOLIʻOLI Kids Challenge

    • Individual (child) participation. Limited to first 50 entry.　Approx. 1.6 km (1 mile) ​
    • Must be 6 to 12 years old on the day of the event (parent consent required)​
    • No timed/ranking awards.

    Entry Fee $30/Child
    • T-shirts will not be provided to Kids Challenge participants. (There will be a commemorative gift instead)　 ​
    • Refreshments provided near the finish line.​

    We are looking for groups to perform on stage on the day of the Honolulu Rainbow EKIDEN. Let's send out a rousing cheer to the runners from around the Pacific Rim.
