[2] 5K Fun Run & Walk

Updated March 31, 2026:

All participants who were registered for the March 2026 event may take part on the new date, Saturday, August 29, 2026, at no additional cost.
Information regarding new registrations will be announced on the official website once preparations are complete.

• Individual participation. Limited to first 500 entry.
• One (1) lap of approx. 5 km (3.1 miles).
• Must be 7 years of age or older on the day of the event (those under 18 years of age must have parental consent).
• * No timed/ranking awards.　
• * This category is for participants to enjoy running/walking one lap on race day with the other EKIDEN runners. It is not a single entry to be mixed in with the EKIDEN race. 

Participants will receive: 

1. Race bib
2. Commemorative T-shirts
3. Finisher Medals
4. Post race treats
