[Sister Event] ATARASHII GAKKO! Confirmed to Perform at ASOBIEXPO HAWAII 2026!
As a sister event of the 30th Annual Honolulu Festival, ASOBIEXPO HAWAII 2026 will take place on the following day, Monday, March 16, 2026, at the Tom Moffatt Waikiki Shell. The event, organized by the ASOBIEXPO HAWAII Committee, is excited to announce that ATARASHII GAKKO! has been added to the performance lineup.
ASOBIEXPO is a music and culture event produced by ASOBISYSTEM, known for bringing Japanese pop culture to audiences around the world. Following its success in Japan, ASOBIEXPO HAWAII 2026 marks the event’s first international edition. Previously announced performers include Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and FRUITS ZIPPER.
Adding to the star-studded lineup, ATARASHII GAKKO!, self-proclaimed "Representative of Japanese youth", are known for their powerful dance performances and dynamic choreography, created entirely by the members themselves. The group drew global attention with their solo performance on the GOBI Stage at Coachella 2024 and went on to complete a world tour across 26 cities in Eurpope, Asia, and North America, as well as 7 cities in Japan, attracting a total audience of over 110,000 fans worldwide.
With three leading acts representing the forefront of Japan’s pop culture, ASOBIEXPO HAWAII 2026 promises to be a one-night-only celebration under the stars of Waikiki.
