BANZAI JAPAN appointed as the official Guest Supporter!

BANZAI JAPAN is an idol unit formed in 2014 with the aim of communicating the "wonderful charms of Japan" to the world. The members promote the special qualities of each prefecture through their activities and performances. The idol unit will support all runners from Japan, Hawaii, and other countries, adding color to this international sporting event.

On the day of the event, the unit will also have five of its members to form "Team BANZAI JAPAN" with fans and participate in the Honolulu Rainbow EKIDEN 5K Fun Run & Walk. 

Special Stage Performances on the Eve of the Event

 BANZAI JAPAN will also perform on the Aloha DANCE CONVENTION stage at the Hawaii Convention Center on the eve of the Honolulu Rainbow EKIDEN. The purpose of the Aloha DANCE CONVENTION is to "creating opportunities, excitement and inspiration in Hawaii" and BANZAI JAPAN will to cheer on the runners by presenting Japanese culture with their energetic performances on stage.
