2026 Participant Exclusive T-shirt unveiled!

The official 2026 T-shirt for participants of the Honolulu Rainbow EKIDEN and 5K Fun Run & Walk has been revealed.

The 2026 race is especially meaningful. It marks the 10th anniversary of the Honolulu Rainbow EKIDEN, and it also comes during a major sports year in the United States, including the FIFA World Cup and the World Baseball Classic.

The front of the shirt features the event logo along with the word “EKIDEN” written in Japanese kanji across the chest, highlighting the race’s roots in a tradition that began in Japan and continues here in Hawaii.

The back design is inspired by an athletic jersey, with bold “10th” and “EKIDEN” lettering. The concept reflects participants running while carrying the spirit and support of everyone who has helped the event grow over the past ten editions.

The T-shirt can be picked up with your race bib on Saturday, March 14 at the Hawaii Convention Center.
